I have many Gateway 1760 with voice ports FXS working with Callmanager v4.2, the protocol used is MGCP. The problem is the following:
The FXS don not work because it is in shutdown. Why the interface is in shutdow? It is caused by a bug? It is caused by a problem with Callmanager? I discard the FXS.
After of configure no shutdown , the FXS work but after newly is in shutdown.
Add no ccm-config to your running-config.
If you have ports such as T1/E1 MGCP controlled then open a TAC case, as you won't be able to reset anything via CCMadmin.
