FXS timeout?

I have a few 2851's with 4 port FXS cards. The FXS cards plug into fax machines. When a call placed to one of the fax machines is overwith, and the calling party disconnects, the FXS port on our router is stuck in "connected" status for 45 seconds. Afterwards it changes to "onhook" and waits for another call to come in.

Is there any way to change this?

Other info: We're running Callmanager 4.2.3 and the gateways are MGCP.

So I found the IOS command reference and it sounds like timeouts wait-release is just what I'm looking for. After changing it to 3 seconds, shut/no shut on the port, it's still waiting about 45 seconds before the port clears up.
