Gatekeeper with multiple local zones

I am not sure what I am missing but I am unable to complete a call between two local zones on a single gatekeeper setup. I have an endpoint registering in one zone and trying to complete a call to a gateway in another zone.

If I remove the second zone and put both the endpoint and the gateway in the same zone it works fine.

here is the current gatekeeper config:

gatekeeper

zone local ep dom.com 10.1.79.77

zone local ucm dom.com

zone prefix ucm 5....

gw-type-prefix 1#* default-technology

no shutdown

The gateway is an h.225 trunk to call manager 4.2.3 and the endpoint is a Tandberg conference phone.

The debug message is a seeing is:

value RasMessage ::= admissionReject :

{

requestSeqNum 2787

rejectReason calledPartyNotRegistered : NULL

nonStandardData

{

nonStandardIdentifier h221NonStandard :

{

t35CountryCode 181

t35Extension 0

manufacturerCode 18

}

data '80400160'H

}

}

Any clue as to what I am missing would be a tremendous help.

Re: Gatekeeper with multiple local zones

Are the endpoints configured with the number?

Is the "show gatekeeper endpoints" showing a useful info?

Re: Gatekeeper with multiple local zones

I was able to get it to connect by using:

no use-proxy ep default inbound-to terminal

no use-proxy ep default outbound-from terminal
