Hi,
we are using CUCM 7.0 and 2 no's of 3845 router as voice gateways. both the gateways are configured as mgcp GW.
the requirement is, in srst mode if one GW fails calls should be processed through another VGW. is there any possibility to chieve this ... if so please provide some sample configuration ..
thanks in advance....

You can use trunk group configuration,

Since you can only have one SRST reference on the callmanager,
So, what you can do is have an active srst ( hsrp) router and all the phones
will register with the active srst router. If that goes down, then phones
will register to the backup.
However, you may be able to get the calls over both the PRIs by putting in 2
dial-peers, One with the low prefernce number ( hence higher preference ) to
the local PRI, and a second dial-peer with higher preference number ( lower
preference ) to the other gateway. This way, when one of the PRIs gets full,
calls will go out the other PRI. I hope your questions are answered.
