GeoLocations / Logical Partitioning doesn't work.

Hello folks!

I will get straight to the issue:

  • 3 physical locations ( Mumbai and Bangalore in India Cluster) and (nyc in US Cluster) connected via H.225 Trunk (Gatekeeper Controlled)
  • Currently there are 2 lines one for CUG calling and one for PSTN
  • I have been given the task to merge lines and also prevent toll fraud (Hence logical paritioning ).
  • Bangalore has MGCP Gateway.

Heres what i have done:

  • 2 Geolocations ( NY( Country: US)  and BLR (Country:IN))
  • 1 Geolocation Filter ( Filter by Country)
  • Logical Partitioning Policy :
    1. NY (border) > BLR (border )         DENY
    2. NY (border) > BLR (interio)         ALLOW
    3. NY (border) >  NY (border )        ALLOW

    4. BLR (border) > BLR (border )       ALLOW

    5. BLR (border) > BLR (interio )        ALLOW

    6. BLR (border) > NY(border )         DENY

    7. BLR (interio) > NY(border )        ALLOW

  • Applied Geolocations BLR on phone and Gateway PRI. BLR(Geolocation ) and Country Filter.
  • Applied Geolocations NY on H.225 Trunk. NY(Geolocation ) and Country Filter.
  • What i want to do is : restrict a cell phone call from the BLR VoIP phone to join an On-Net Call to USA(NY) via H.225 Trunk. I haven't been able to do it so far. Any ideas would be appriciated.

I have read all the posts pertaining to LP and GeoLocations, and read several blogs but just can't figure out what i am missing. I can successfully do this between Indian locations (Mumbai and Bangalore) but can't do it through the trunk.
