Group Listen 7962 CUCM 7.1

Hi All,

Quick question, we have had a user request to use both microphone in the handset and in the speaker based microphone at the same time.

It seems that the group listen feature will provide the users with what they have requested, but it appears that this feature is only available on 7911’s and 7906’s? We are using 7962 handsets with CUCM 7.1.

Is there another feature that would provide this functionality? It seems strange that the higher spec phone would not have this feature.

Nick,

The reason this feature exists on 7911/06 is because those phones do not have full-duplex speaker, and only Monitor speaker where you can listen, but not speak to it. On the 7962 you would either use Speaker or Handset, you could however use a headset and speaker at the same time.
