Hi Guys,
I am looking for a way to group a number of BRI lines for outgoing calls. Basically we have 5 BRI lines and I obviously need to be able to spread my outgoing calls accross these lines. The system is a CME 4.0 running on a 2851 ISR.
I have done this before but can't remember the config, any help gratefully recieved.
Thanks

hi,
try it with "trunk group" configuration.
1. create a trunk group global
2. assign this on the interface
3. assign this on the dial-peer

Do you mean that you are trying to avoid to have a outbound dialpeer for each BRI that you want to use? Don?t think that is possible and almost sure it is not supported.
Just add dialpeer for each BRI, give them all the same preference and you?re good to go ;-)

msolak is right. trunk groups are the recommended way to group incoming or incoming lines, giving you the ability of simplifying the configuration using a single dial-peer, and more sophisticated usage selection schemes.
