You are missing the following commands under dedicated intereface:

interface x/x

h323-gateway voip interface

h323-gateway voip h323-id "anything"

h323-gateway voip bind srcadd "ip add of the interface"

HTH, please rate all posts!

h323-gateway voip bind srcadd "ip add of the interface"

IP add of CCM or another h323 gateway?

What do you mean another GW?

If you need to use a remote GW for processing the calls then you dont need anything on the GW.

The IP address should be local to the router, etiher loopback or FA interface.

Chris

HI Cris.

All my calls are sent for another gw

Then I want to add my Router 2801 as my gw of the callmanager 4.x so that all the external calls to CCM aresent for HiPath 3800.

Thanks

PSTN <--> Siemens HiPath 3800 <-> LAN - Router2801 - CCM 4.x

You control the routing via Route Pattern in CCM, here is what to do:

1. configure the router as GW:

interface x/x

h323-gateway voip interface

h323-gateway voip h323-id "anything"

h323-gateway voip bind srcadd "ip add of the interface"

Not sure if you have a PRI controller card and available T1 port on Siemens, but in order to do the integration, you'll need both. Your best bet would be to configure QSIG as the isdn switch-type, but you can really use any protocol.

2. Add pots-dial peers for outboud calling from CCM to Siemens, such as:

dial-peer voice 1 pots

incomaing called-number .

direct-inward-dial

destination-pattern 9!

port 1/0:23 (D-channel of PRI)

3. add voip dial-peers for calls from Siemens to CCM

dial-peer voice 100 voip

destination-pettern 2... (assuming 2XXX are the DN on CCM)

session-target ipv4:

codec g711ulaw

no vad

4. Configure H.323 GW on CCM

5. Create Route Group and point to the GW

6. Create Route List and point to the Route Group

7. Create Route Patterns and point to the RL

For more help you want to reseach PBX integration, one resource can be

or simply search this formum , there's been ton of threads about PBX integration to CCM.

Chris

Hi Chris

Thank you very much!

The Siemens PBX and CCM are connected through LAN (Ethernet)and not through T1/E1.

Thanks
