Hello,

we have a H.323 gateway in Seoul office. CCM is in Shanghai.

User reported that sometimes during an external call, the call is interrupted by unknown reason.

when the call is interrupted, on the phone screen, everything looks as if the call is still on. but neither the caller and the external guy can hear each other.

here is part of the debug information for a call that ran into this issue.

Hi,

Jun 07 13:14:01 172.21.31.254 147248: Jun  7 13:14:16: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: call_disc: PI received in disconnect; Postpone sending RELEASE for callid 0xA9D6

This means that the call was closed further up the ISDN network.

The fact that it includes a PI is telling your router to wait before clearing

You would need your TELCO to investigate if you are saying that the far end did not hang up.

You can change the behavior of your router so that it clears imediately on receiving theae messages

!

voice call disc-pi-off

!

Apply this in the glogabl config.

Hi, Acampbell,

thanks for your reply.

there is another following log. i forget it in 8th June's log.

Jun 07 13:14:01 172.21.31.254 147248: Jun  7 13:14:16: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: call_disc: PI received in disconnect; Postpone sending RELEASE for callid 0xA9D6

Jun 07 13:14:01 172.21.31.254 147249: Jun  7 13:14:16: %CCH323-6-CALL_PRESERVED: cch323_h225_handle_conn_loss: H.323 call preserved due to socket closure or error, Call Id = 605, fd = 8

is there anything to do with th issue?

do you mean the TELCO's device interrupt the call but ask my device to wait before clearing?

if this is the case,  that's the TELCO that should check there device, am i correct?

thanks

Hi,

thanks. i would try from my side.
