If user A calls user B (has CFWDA to an external numer) User A will hear ringback from the cfwda number. Why do you expect it to hear busy?

user B is busy - sorry

But you said User B has a CFWD setting. SO do you have a cfwd busy setting for user B?

step by step:

1) user a (from mobile) call user b (CFWA to PSTN number - for example mobile number user b).

2) user b answer with mobile phone

3) user c call user b , user c hear ring back tone, but user b (mobile phone) is busy.

After 5 ring back user c hear reorder tone.

The call flow is:

(user a)pstn - > vg01 -> cucm(8.5) -> (user b)Ip phone (cfwa pstn number) -> vg02-> (mobile phone user b)pstn

     A<------------_____________________call connect________________________________------------>B

(user a)pstn - > vg01 -> cucm(8.5) -> (user b)Ip phone (cfwa pstn number) -> vg02-> (mobile phone user b)pstn

     C<------------_____________________ring back________________________________------------>B

thanks

M.

Hi,

I dont see how this is a CUCM problem. CUCM forwards the call to the mobile phone. The Mobile network should send a busy signal to cucm, if the user does not have call waiting enabled on their GSM network/phone

Problem Details:
When user dial telephone number from PSTN  to phone IP registered on CUCM 8.5.(13900)
call is established through gateway h323 with ISR Cisco 2821 which is connected with PSTN
through ISDN PRI.
If wrong number  is dialed from PSTN to CUCM, the caller  hear ringback tones instead
voice message about inaccessibility.
If number dialed is correct (ip phone registered) but it is redirect to PSTN number
(CFWAll to Pstn number) the caller hear ringback always (whether user on pstn is busy or
not busy).
