H323 - issues

hello ,

1 - i have h323 gateway with cucm 9x , incoming calls are working for PRI master number only , for DIDs incomming calls are hitting the gateway (no output for debug q931)

Hi Aslam,

Did u run teminal monitor [if telneting to GW] and then, run debug isdn q931

now if calls are hitting the GW, check for significant digits and CSS under call routing information---inbound calls.

have u assigned DID numbers to IP phone numbers ? also, check for how many digits are sent by Telco

i have PRI line with 20 Channel .  and master number is 17xx0223.

ip phone ext is 0223  ( master number ) can not  call  OUTSIDE

Hi Aslam,

this means incoming as well as outgoing both are not working.

Have u been given a pool of DID numbers with one master/Pilot number from Telco ? from the same pool, u have given Directory /extension numbers to ip phones ? Please confirm.

Hi Aslam,

this means you have configured DID Pilot/Master number on one of the IP phone.

You need to configure other DID numbers from the DID pool to IP phones [if provided ] for incoming from outside.

for outgoing calls, check if call is hitting gateway.

Because your RP starts with 9.3xxxxxxx and you are dialing 33000883. Try dialing by with prefix 9 ...i.e. 933000883 and also apply CSS to the phone on the device page.
