h323 to h323 connections (I'm a bit confused)

Hi,

I am a bit confused as to what this command does in a voice gateway.

voice service voip
allow-connections h323 to h323

any inputs is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Well, I've seen this mostly in CUBE or CME configurations but nonetheless this command is used to allow (or not allow) specific types of connections thru your CUBE/CME/gateway.  So h323 to h323 allows two h323 endpoints to communicate with each other thru the gateway device.  You might also see sip to sip or h323 to sip based on what you're doing.  With CUBE, h323 to h323  connections are disabled by default and POTS-to-any and any-to-POTS connections are  enabled.  So, the h323 to h323 command enables these types of connections.
