Having problems with access list to block calls to remote destination number.
Hello, we have a user who is getting a lot of nuissance calls and has asked us if we had the ability to block them. We are currently running CUCM 7.1.5 so we do not have the ability to block the calls in the Call Manager until we upgrade to 8.0 later this year. In the meantime we would like to create an access list to block the calls to her remote destination number. We created an access list by going to Call Routing>Class of Control >Access List and configured it to block one number for testing purposes. We then went to Device>Remote Destination and in the section When receiving a call during the above ring schedule: we selected Do not ring this destination if caller is in: and we selected the access list we created to block the call. When we saved the configuration we received the following error message: Update Failed. End User for TODAccess and CallerFilterList must match. Does anyone have any suggestions on what we are doing wrong or how to properly configure an access list to block a call to a remote destination number? Thanks.
