Hi

Initially we always point the phone towards the TFTP server. From the TFTP server phone fetches its *.cnf.xml file which gives it varoius information such as :

1. Call Agent Ip

2. Protocol

3. Date time templates

4. Ip phone services

Please try the below:-

1- under telephony-service

no cnf-file location flash:

no cnf-file perphone

create cnf-files.

2-If the files of your phones are located on your flash , please share with us. You can use it on the config mode as the below:-

tftp-server flash:flash/kern9971.9-1-1SR1.sebn  alias   kern9971.9-1-1SR1.sebn

tftp-server flash:flash/rootfs9971.9-1-1SR1.sebn   alias rootfs9971.9-1-1SR1.sebn

Thank you

please rate all useful information

I have the files in flash:

tftp-server flash0:/ipphones/8945/SCCP8945/BOOT8941_8945.0-0-1-0.bin.sgn alias boot8945.bin.sgn

tftp-server flash0:/ipphones/8945/SCCP8945/SCCP8941_8945.9-3-4-17.bin1.sgn alias 8945.bin1.sgn

Did the

1- under telephony-service

Then rebooted the router.

Getting this from debug tftp events:

Phones have registered. BUT if I go out and reboot the router, they will not be able to register until I manually create the cnf-files and reboot the phones...

I have no idea why this is happening...

Jeff

Hi

your have to do the below

telephony-service

no load 8945 sccpcmterm8945.cop.sgn

load  8945 sccpcmterm8945.cop.sgn.loads

no create cnf-files

create cnf-files

Thank you

please rate all useful information

Still same issue but getting this error when during bootup of router:

LOAD COMMAND ERROR:cnf-file location system is not supported for creating automatic tftp bindings. Please use file location flash | slot0 | tftp OR create tftp bindings manually

My sip phone are doing just fine. I may just upgrade the 8945 from sccp to sip and see if that helps.

Thanks for all your input..

Hi

Can you use the below , please?.and delete the other loads and make sure your flash containd the below files. I found on the above configuration after alias is incorrect , should be as the below.

telephony-service

load 8945 SCCP8941_8945.9-3-4-17     (try this if not please try this "load 8945 SCCP8941_8945.9-3-4-17.loads")

SCCP8941_8945.9-3-4-17.bin9.sgn

SCCP8941_8945.9-3-4-17.loads

Thank you

please rate all useful information

OK.. I have removed the tftp-server information on these files.

I tried to added the "load 8945 SCCP8941_8945.9-3-4-17" but asked for file location.

I added the "cnf-file location flash:".

Added the "load 8945 SCCP8941_8945.9-3-4-17" and it accepted it.

I them moved the files to flash:/its/ folder..

Rebooted router and the phone were able to re-register. This is very good. Thank you...

One quick question though... The information on the phone says the app load is SCCP 9-3-1-19 not the SCCP 9-3-4-17 that we were trying to load. I don't think it has ever loaded. Should it be loading the SCCP 9-3-4-17?

?????????????

Thanks.
