High packet loss while accessing Cisco Unity Connection 8.0

Hi All Networkers,

This is Niran.  I've installed Cisco Unity Connection 8.0 on VMwareworkstation (72 gb & 2gb ram, Bridged). I'm getting high packet loss while pinging the CUC and takes long time to load the web session.

Here is the ping response :

Losing pings is expected, it's a security mechanism.

Slow web access usually points to the fact you're not dedicating the whole memory as you should to the VM.

How much memory does the server/PC/etc has where you installed it?

Also, check your duplex settings on the NIC to ensue you are running Full Duplex.
