Hot to make display PSTN caller name to CUCM?

My business wants that when somebody calls from PSTN they could see not only number but also some text string.

How it is possible to do?

First of all this needs to be enabled on the circuit by the provider, second of all MGCP provides this natevily, for H323 you need right IOS, and additional config.

in practice, calling name is available from telco only in north america. In all the other countries, telco will not provide that service.

What the OP wants is some sort of database to associate frequent callers number to strings.

I wrote a service (number2name.tcl) that does that and is available with other works of mine at:

The requisite is ato use the GW in H.323 or SIP mode.
