How can i activate the DND feature in CCM 4.1(3) ?

I added a customized softkey template and i added the DND softkey button for all status of calls and then i added a new device pool containing this Softkey template and i assigned the device pool to 7961 and 7940 IP phones but the DND feature is not working as i tested it in CUCM ver 6 and the Softkey button in 7940 IP phone is dimmed.

CM 4.1.3 does not have DND feature, I am not sure how you got to see it in the softkey template, must be a bug on the version you are running.

DND was introduced in CM 6.

DND was provided in 4.1(3) but not as a standalone feature as in 6.x. if not using 6.X and above you need to configure the whole IPMA to use the DND button

it's a very common mistake everyone thinks that just because they can choose it from the softkey templates that's it to make it work

I updated the version of CCM 4.1 to the latest Service back from Cisco Web site from about about 6 months and it is a real CCM installed on MCS server
