How do I find the phone load name?

Hi,

I have just downloaded the following update to my CUCM 6.1(1) server.

cmterm-7945_7965-sccp.8-4-2.cop.sgn

How do I find the name of the load to enter in the Device Defaults Load Information field?

There do not seem to be any instructions in the release notes.

Hi James,

This is an excellent question! I have always wanted some sort of template that listed the naming conventions for these files instead of my crappy "hit and miss" method ;-)

Have a look at Table 2 in this doc, there are great examples for this info.

Hope this helps!

Rob

When you download the file, there should be some release notes. The exact file name may be included there.

Alternatively, the easiest way is to go into your OS Administration and browse through the files. You should see a file that has a filename similar to 'SR..8-4-2.loads'

You'll want to include the filename minus the .loads when you specify the upgrade.
