How do I make 8000 and 9000 series phones use <user>@<domain> inside SIP messages

I am using 8000 and 9000 series IP phones and registering them to a non-Cisco SIP proxy.  I have done a lot of tweaking with the configuration files but I can't get them to use the <user>@<domain> format inside the SIP messages.  The phone is resolving the hostname I use for the "processNodeName" tag and using the IP for that inside the messages instead of the hostname.  Does anyone know if there is a way around this?

Can you post your config file example?

Config attached.  The phone will register, but I want to have multiple domains hosted on the sip proxy so ideally I'd be able to make the phone register to the correct domain.

Hi,

Did you find any solution to this problem? I've a old 7962G and see the similar problem: phone always tries to register with "user@ipadd" instead of "user@domain".

Thanks.
