How do I upgrade the rommon on a 3660

I have a 3660 running 12.1(27b) with rommon version 12.0(6r)T. I'd like to upgrade the IOS to 12.3 or 12.4 however to do that I need to upgrade the rommon first.

Does anyone know how I can upgrade the rommon on this device because the "upgrade rom-monitor" command is not avaiable in EXEC mode and there is no tftpdnld command from the rommon prombt. Any help would be great, thanks.

I think you need to replace the rom chip that you can obtain from cisco.

Thank you. Does anyone know if you can still buy this chip upgrade. The part number seems to be BOOT-3600=, but I can't find it from any of our resellers.
