Hi All,
I’m using SRST fallback mode using Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (Cisco Unified CME) and its working ok.
Under telephony-service I configured a ephone-dn-template so some settings are pushed to the phones in SRST.
I’d like to disable the call-waiting-beep on the phones, so I changed ephone-dn-template 1 and added the option ‘no call-waiting beep accept’. See configuration below
telephony-service
srst mode auto-provision none
srst ephone template 1
srst dn template 1
srst dn line-mode dual
ephone-dn-template 1
no call-waiting beep accept
I switched between the normal mode and SRST mode, but the ‘call-waiting beep’ is still activated. Eventually the call-waiting beep was disabled after rebooting the router.
Questions:
- Is there a more elegant way the activate these changes on the phones?
- Is there a way to remove a dynamically discovered ephone in SRST/CME?

You could try issuing the reset command under telephony-service config mode to reset the phones...
