how to configure 6901 phone in cucm(elevator phone)

Dear all

I registered 6901 phone in cucm and its showing registered but on phone i hear a busy tone.
I cant make a call and also cant receive
please guide me ASAP

When do you get a busy tone? Do you habe a dial tone on the phone? Have you configured an extension number on the phone?

as i pickup the hand set, it's just giving me a busy tone
no dial tone
yes i confgured the extension as well

what is the firmware version and CUCM you are using?

also, protocol for registration [SIP/SCCP]

firmware : SCCP6901.9-3-1-SR1-3

What was the resolution on this.  Others may want to know as well.  You were looking for a solution ASAP but now you are not willing to take 30 seconds to update the rest of us that may run into the same issue.  Not very nice.
