How to configure SIP gateway with SP and CUCM 7

Hi,

I would like to register a Cisco 2611 router as a SIP gateway with SP (Flowroute) to be able to make and receive calls from CUCM 7.

Could you point me to some guides/tutorials, I am a little bit puzzled, for example:

Do I need to create a two separate sip-ua, one to register with SP and one to register with CUCM?

How many dial-peers should I create for basic in and out calling?

Does different SP have different requirements on how to register with them?

I am new to VoIP and I am having trouble finding answers to those questions.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Hello Marcin,

is your 2611 an XM series router?

In order to achieve your goal you have to configure, in general,:

- @CUCM: a SIP Trunk to the 2611

- @2611: a) appropriate dial-peers to/from CUCM and to/from ITSP, b) registration to the ITSP. I have a sample configuration below

sip-ua
credentials username xxx password xxx realm xxx
 authentication username xxx password xxx
 registrar dns:xxx expires 120
 sip-server dns:xxx
 host-registrar
!

# show sip-ua register status
