In Cisco CME 9.0, how do you enable the USB port on the 8961 phone handsets for headset usage?
It worked fine in the default phone shipping configuration until I created proper per-phone profiles under voice register on the tftp server.. so something they downloaded in their configuration must have broke/disabled it.
Of course, the documentation tells you how to do it in CUCM but not CME.

Try:
telephony service service
phone headsetWidebandEnable 0
no create cnf-files
create cnf-files
voice register global
no create profile
create profile
Then reset the voice register pool.
Give it a try and let us know.
