In previous version of Cisco call manager you could use a SQL data base tool and query tables. Does anyone know what you can use in the latest 6.x version of CCM to query data base tables.
Thank you very much

1) List tables for CM DB
admin:show tech systables
2) Send contents of a particular table to a file
admin:show tech table numplan
-------------------- show tech table --------------------
Table
Output is in file cm/trace/dbl/sdi/numplan_table.16103.csv
3) you can download the file using sftp
4) Under SSH use run sql command

gogasca,
What the Client wants is an easy way to extract the CDR information out. May like a csv file or something.
Like in the older CCM 4.x you could look at the SQL data base in the sql server enterprise manager location.
any ideas.

We have an option for moving CDR records to external SFTP
CDR DB no longer exists in Linux version, we only use flat files
Check CDR options in CCM serviceability

Customer doesnt want to do it that way. They want to write it themselves
Any other ideas.
Thank you

He can extract file by file
by using file get ? option...
Pervious option was the easies way nnot sure why they dont want to doit that way
Other option is 3rd party billing using SOAP

Is the CDRdetailrecords still in a database by it self.
Also what is the tables to extract that would give them this information.
2nd question is:
using the longest idle algarythem you want to show the ringing phone on the original calling phone on internal calls .
this used to work in version 4.x but we seem to not see this in 6.0 and ideas.
Thanks

i was able to do the get file command and pull out the data file 20080326 and i think they said they could work with that.
what is weird is i looked at the file 20080325 which i would have assumed was yesterday but it was empty. the only file that has anything in it is 20080326. which i assume is todays
thanks

Please, I need help in this case.
The customer need to use a third party billing system for the CDR of Callmanger 6.0.
The problem that the database of the Callmanager not SQL like the previous versions.
The engineer that will install the billing system asked me for two ways to help to collect the data from CDR:
first: to know the path of the database so he can go through it and collect the data by himself using the billing system
OR
Second: the CDR sent a report with all details every 1 min. to the server of the billing system and he will deal with it.
please I tried many steps but it is failed.
So if any know how to do this??
thanks so much
