How to send voice mail to Hunt group members?

Hi all,

I have CUCMBE 7.1.3. I have Hunt pilot number 6001, with hunt group members 6002 & 6003. I create end user in CUCM administration, give telephone number 6002 and associate devices with ext 6002 & 6003. The primary ext is 6002.

In Unity Connection, I try to import and sync for user I created before. Go to Distribution list and create list with ext 6001 (HP) with distribution member are 6002 & 6003. But I can't insert ext 6002, because Ext 6002 has used in end user that I created in CUCM administration.

Hi Riko,

Distribution lists will not come into play here

Lets say you are trying to play the Greeting for 6002 when calls route through the Hunt

configuration;

In Unity Connection Admin go to the setup page for 6002 and (edit)

Add 6001 as an Alternate Extension.

Then when the call flows through to Unity Connection the proper

Greeting for 6002 should play.

I have create as alternate ext, MWI is on, but I couldn't retrieve voicemail.
