Hi all,
I have the following issue:
An external, incoming call is redirected (on a IP-Phone) to 3-party voicemail. The problem is, that there is no redirect-calling nummer (should be the local internal-nr.) in the information to the voicemail.
I need the redirect-nr information for the voicemail.
Here the ephone-dn settings (2999=>voicemail):
ephone-dn 167
number 2407 no-reg primary
label number(2407)
description 0xx/xx.xx.xx
name number 7
call-forward all 2999
call-forward noan 2999 timeout 3
Here the Voice-mail dial-peer:
dial-peer voice 11 voip
description ** VOICEMAIL **
destination-pattern 2999
voice-class h323 1
session target ipv4:192.168.x.x
dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric
codec g711ulaw
no vad
Can I somehow set the redirect-nr (local) under the ephone-dn or do I have to do some changes under the BRI0/0/0?
Can anybody explain me what the "extract_redirect_orig_called_ie: IE type redirecting num none reason..."
debug output means?
Here some debug from the ISDN (Switzerland):

The error "extract_redirect_orig_called_ie: IE type redirecting num none reason" is usually caused by incorrect isdn switch type config. Following link may help you for ephone-dn settings

Hi,
there may be two separate issues here. First, the message in debug isdn, it is due the telco is placing the call, with a ROP operation and the calling number twice. Not sure if this is related to the below, do all call come in this way that is a bit strange ?
Then if the voicemail is not seeing the redirecting number, can you take "debug cch323 all" to chek what the router is sending>

Hi all,
thanks for the reply.
Actually, the ISDN-debug "extract_redirect_orig_called_ie" only appears with an incoming redirected call from a mobile and it's telco related.
My workaround to solve this issue is, I put a translation redirect-called rule on the voice-port. So I got the redirect-information for the voicemail.

Norbert

Hello Norbert, can you please post your detailed workaround? I have the same issue now with callisto express h323 (voicemail) and cme 4.2. When a external call is redirected to the voicemail then the voicemail is not receiving the redirecting id.
Here is the debug of the voicemail:
2008-04-15 18:05:42 Incoming Call. Called=999 Caller=0313001000 Redir=
2008-04-15 18:05:42 License: 2 Call(s). In use: 1 Call(s).
2008-04-15 18:05:43 Translated Numbers. Called=999 Caller=0313001000 Redir=
Normally behind the "Redir=" there is the redirecting number for the voicemail.
With CME 3.4 this worked with no problems.
Thanks for the help.

Hi Lukas,
It's on a 4.1 CCME (Version 12.4(11)XJ) with
Callisto H323.
The PSTN-connection is configured as special arrangement.
...
voice translation-rule 40

....
This sample is on a 4.2 ccme (Version 12.4(11)XW5) with SIP Callisto .
The PSTN-connection is configured as special arrangement.
...
voice translation-rule 40

Maybe there is a better solution, but it worked for me.
Hope this help
