HQ Unity as vociemail system for Remote Sites across the MPLS WAN
We have three sites. At HQ we have Callmanager 6.1 and Unity 5.X, and there are two remote sites which at present are running CME and CUE. We plan to convert these two remote sites into SRST site so that there phones will be reigstered to HQ Callmanager and have thier VM on HQ Unity server. The WAN connectivity is MPLS to these remote sites. So we will not be using CUE blade in the remote sites which has license for total 200 VM users (100 per remote site).
I have two question in this regard:
- Are the CUE user VM licenses in this case interchangable to Unity VM users Lic.
- Would like to confirm if it's OK to have the central Unity acting as Voicemail system for the remote sites considering the fact that there is MPLS WAN between these sites which is being used for data also. The HQ site 18MB pipe and the remote sites have 10MB to the MPLS.I belieive we need to have some SLA with carrier to priortize vocie traffic and assure certain BW depending upon the simultaneous inter-office voice calls and VM sessions.
Are there any other important guide lines which I missing here please..
