Also can you access http://IPADDRESS and select Unity Connection.

Strange indeed.  Tomcat is running fine and you can access all other Unity Connection pages for this one.

You have tried different browser with no luck.  It is in a lab environment I would say give the re-install a go and see if that changes anything.

I have to say I am stumped.

Maybe someone else from the community has some ideas...

I forgot to mention..

In vmware i already restarted Cisco tomcat services

I even powered down/rebooted the machine unfortunately with no success

When you say that you have powered down and rebooted the machine are you refering to the workstation you are trying to access the Cisco Unity Connection Administration page or the server itself.

I get this problem alot and normally I just have to close my browser and reopen.  Also I would try a different browser if you have not already.

Hi Gregory,

I tried it unfortunately with no success.

I'm afraid i have to re-install cisco unity connection.

There could be a mismatch in the username i gave while it was installing.

Strange..

Ran into the same problem on

Ran into the same problem on Unity Version 10.5.2.12901-1.  After a reboot as previously stated I manually changed the URL from

https://x.x.x.x/cuadmin/home.do

to

https://x.x.x.x/ccmadmin

This loaded a blank page but presented the navigation pane on the top right to select the correct "unity connection administration". After logging in I was able to log out/close browsers and re-connect using my normal shortcut

Seems to be working fine now. I don't have to change the URL and I can connect as if the problem never existed. Very odd behavior.

Tried all solutions mentioned

Tried all solutions mentioned to no avail. I have reinstalled CUC 4 times now, fresh install each time. No Joy..... I am installing on a Cisco UCSC-C220-M3SBE server that had the following servers preloaded (or at least the *.OVA was loaded):

Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning

Cisco Unified Communications Manager

Cisco Unified Contact Center Express

CUCM IM and Presence Server

We had purchased the Unity portion of the server but for some reason it had not been preloaded. I proceeded after bringing all 4 other servers online to load the .ova file for CUC and then load the .iso. I have successfully loaded the .ova and .iso all four times without any visible errors. The main website for the given IP address x.x.x.x comes up with the selection of the License Server and the Cisco Unity Connection server but when you select the CUC it throws the "HTTP Status 404 - /cuadmin/home.do" error saying the requested resource is not available. However the Licensing portal/portion of the main page has worked flawlessly from the beginning. I can log into it from the originating x.x.x.x web page and see it fine.

The other Cisco instances on the VM server work great so far and I have had no problems with any of them. Real weird. Cisco Tech support has been stummped so far by this one. Anyone have any additional ideas?

With a BE6K the server should

With a BE6K the server should be in the inventory alreayd. I suggest you start a new thread for your issues.

I also had this issue. Event those the Cisco Tomcat Service said started, I would get the related error.

Turns out I just wasn't being patient.  It came back 5 - 10 minutes after I noticed Tomcat had started.
