Hunt group with call pickup

I have a group of 12 people in a CUCM 7 hunt group. They want to be able to pick up calls from phones that are not manned. As all knowledgeable members of the forum will know, you cannot use Group Pickup with Hunt Groups.

Has anyone got a clever solution to this? I was thinking of displaying all phones on a sidecar as BLF keys, and then allowing pickup through the BLF.

Does anyone know when Cisco will get around to fixing the problem? - it is incredibly irritating.

Hi

This has been 'fixed' since CM4x... sort of.

Go into Enterprise Parameters, scroll down to Cisco Support Use 1 - enter CSCsb42763  (case sensitive)

Save it.

Now go back to your Hunt Pilot, and you can set it into a Pickup Group.
