I'm trying to provide branch offices with the hunt lists failover in SRST mode using âsrst mode auto-provisionâ command:
If 'srst mode auto-provision all' is used:
SRST config will be saved to running config. When phones fail back to CallManager the ephone created dial peer remains up whilst the ephone itself becomes unregistered. Any calls to IP Phones via the pstn are dropped as the ephone created dial peer is sending the call to an unregistered phone.
If 'srst mode auto-provision none' is used:
Hunt list can only be configured while the router is in srst mode. Once back in none SRST mode, if the router is rebooted the hunt list configuration is lost.
Is there any work around for this?
I've tried using 'list *' in my ephone-hunt configuration but the customer does not want all phones in all hunt groups.
When SRST mode auto-provision is set to all or dn, the configuration of the phones becomes embedded into the running config when SRST takes place. If you save the config while the running config has the phone configuration, this can cause problems when it wants to hand off the responsibility to the CallManager because the router will then think the phones are setup locally to it.
The short answer is that you don't.... That isn't entirely true while at
the same time it kind of is, but for the most part you don't configure
the softkeys. You enable or disable them via TCL. Here is the long
answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
