if manager line busy?

hi

if an assistant wants to know if her manager line is busy or not how this could be accomplished in a simple way ( i mean i don't need to use IPMA nor shared lines)/

You will need BLF for Speed dials which is, I think, in CCM5.1 and later. If you have CCM 4.X and don't want to upgrade you can set up a CME just for them and connect it to your current CCM, although this is a bit weird however.
