In CUCM 6/7, is it possible to bring up a primary node

in a cluster when the primary node(publisher) fails without restoring via DRS?

Just wondering if is it possible at all?

Let's say by using some dbreplication command to replicate the subscriber's data to rebuilt the publisher's database.

Hi Kinwai,

CCM 6.x and 7.x has the same design considerations as before when it comes to the Single Publisher with multiple Subscriber setup. My understanding is that Cisco is working on a method to promote a Sub to Pub for Disaster recovery purposes, but this has not yet been released. Soon I hope :)

I'm trying out the new CUCM 7 beta from cisco, i found a lot of new commands especially in "utils dbreplication",so just wondering if it's possible now.
