I have attached a debug isdn q931 and a debug voip ccapi inout

Re: Incoming calls fail

CCM gets '214510164' and doesn't know what to do with that.

You have to transform number into a valid extension either at GW or CCM level.

If you have done that already, check it again.

Re: Incoming calls fail

Quick reply :)

I have a "2145101XX" Translation pattern on the CCM with a Called Party Transform Mask of an internal IP extension!

Re: Incoming calls fail

Sorry, I correct myself. CCM unaware of the number would be "destination unknow".

You get instead out-of-order that leads me to think some misconfiguration but I'm unable to tell what exactly, it's on the CM however.

Unrelated, you may want to set netwrock-clock-participate for your BRIs and isdn tei-negotiation preserve.

Re: Incoming calls fail

Check the calling search space for the H323 gateway, be sure that this calling search space has the translation pattern's partition in it. Subsequently, check the calling search space of your translation pattern, and be sure it contains the partition in which your internal extension resides.

Hope that helped, if so please rate.

Re: Incoming calls fail

1) CSS for GW and phone is the same

2) CSS has phone partition in it

3) Translation Pattern and Phone are in same partition

Also when I dial the Translation pattern from another internal phone it rings the correct extension.

Re: Incoming calls fail

Does the GW CSS have the translation pattern's partition in it?

Re: Incoming calls fail

Just to be sure, why don't make the DDI translation on the GW, do you know how to use translation-profile and rule ?

Re: Incoming calls fail

So I made a translation profile on the gateway that looks like this:

!

voice translation-rule 10

rule 1 /2145101../ /1814/

!

!

voice translation-profile #Incoming-to-Reception#

translate calling 10

!

dial-peer voice 1 voip

translation-profile incoming #Incoming-to-Reception#

destination-pattern 2145101..

voice-class codec 1

session target ipv4:10.1.100.252

no vad

I keep getting the same error!

Re: Incoming calls fail

You applied the profile as incoming, must be outgoing under DP 1.

Also make sure the rule is right with "test voice translation-rule 10 xxxxxxx".

If still same error that proves something on CM in really wrong.

Re: Incoming calls fail

Hi All,

I wasn't sourcing my H323 traffic. I added the following command under the voice VLAN on the 4244 and it worked straight away.

h323-gateway voip bind srcaddr 172.16.100.2

Thanks for the suggestions
