as far as we know that installing BAT has to be done on the same Publisher server. sometimes for security reason, the callmanager server is not accessible, is there a way to install BAT while you are connecting to the publisher from a terminal service ( by ubing remote dektop). I tried but an error displayed that you cannot use terminal service for installation. any idea????
There are many applications that are not compatible for installation in a TS session. TS sessions don't run in the same "space" as a console session.
Microsoft has fixed this in later versions of windows (mstsc /console). Since some of us are stuck with windows 2000, then a Remote access card (RIB - HP, RSA - IBM) or VNC is the only other way to install certain cisco supported software from a remote location. Depending on what TAC has told you is supported, I would use that.

The below trick might come handy when you have to add a new node to a cluster but you don't have or is unsure of the security password for the publisher. This procedure has been around for ages.
1) Login into the CLI of the Publisher.
