Hi,
I have MCS-7825H-3.0, we have upgraded the HDD's for the servers with 2 146 HDD's SCSI connected to the HP smart array 642.
When i try install CUCM 7.0, i get this critical error:
/dev/hda is not a hard disk, failed media type check.
Note;
There is no HDD's connected directly to the ATA of the motherboard.
The server supports installing CUCM 7.0, i have problem for allowing the CUCM 7.0 detect HDD's connected to the HP smart array controller.

Hi shaikh,
Thank you for your reply, I was searching for this error and i find that Linux Redhat Ent. 4 running to detect HDD connected to the motherboard directy and it couldn't and also it couldn't detect HDD's connected to the HP smart array controller.
I don't know how i can let Linux Redhat Ent. 4 detect HDD connected to HP smart array controller.
Thanks

Have you configured the HP Smart Array Controller? If you haven't you must configure the array first and then you should detect the hdd?
