Hi All,
We're having a few issues with cucm where it's showing we have insufficient licenses (image attached) we only have the 7821 and 3905 phones on site.
It's the first time we have come across this issue in 2 years, whats the best way to troubleshoot this sort of issue? We've tried removing some of the phones completely but that hasnt worked either.
Thanks,

Hi,
The 7821 IP phones will require the Basic license, how many of those do you have in your setup?

Thanks both for contacting me, we have 108 phones logged in at the moment of the 7821 model.

The number of Basic licenses that are installed are less than your requirement, so it seems that the 7821's are borrowing the higher licenses at the moment while generating this warning for the Basic licenses. Did you notice this warning today or has it been there for a while?

It seems that you have 112 BASIC phones as of now.
You have purchased 80 BASIC licneses and 30 were borrowed from CUWL standard. After the same were finished , 2 more connected.
So, again 2 licneses were borrowed from Enhanced.

Thanks for all your help, I'm still seeing the same issues however only 1 license now. Is there anyway i can troubleshoot this through logs? To see the last phone that was connected to the network?

we can go through diagnostic logs provided they were configured when phone was connected and give some info related to your issue.Even though I have never tried this.

I think u would be remembering the MAC address of IP phone connected in network.

Hi,
I was just referring the link which has some SQL queries related to ELM
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/unified-communications/unified-communications-manager-callmanager/117600-technote-cucm-00.html
I found the nearest query
run sql select pkid from enduser where userid = 'jbardy'
but it works when we have userID associated.
Just play with these queries if it helps.
