Hi All,
Does anybody knows how to integrate my 7204VXR router with Avaya Definity for Voip service?
Both ends will have vxr & avaya definity via T1 data connection.
Please, i really need your help & expertise.
Thanks

I have been seeing a lot of samples but i couldn't understand some of the parameters.
Like the one below:
voice-port 2/0/0
ren 5
signal groundStart
!
voice-port 2/0/1
!
dial-peer voice 7000 pots
destination-pattern 3000
port 2/0/0
forward-digits 0
!
dial-peer voice 1000 voip
destination-pattern ....
session target ipv4:172.20.43.155
!
dial-peer voice 7001 pots
destination-pattern 3001
port 2/0/1
I just need to understand those parameters and when to use them.
Thanks
Cliff

Hi, this is an example using an analog port, you need to look for digital ports. You also need to know which signalling protocol your PBX is using, the first preference would be PRI.
In summary doing voip is not much complicated but it also requires application so if you could study the primer material on CCO, that would let you understand how a dial-peer works, etc.
Alternatively if you just want the job done fast and well again my suggestion is to hire someone to make it for you.
