Integrating CallManager with non-Cisco phone systems

I want to integrate Cisco CallManager with an Inter Tel Axxess system so the two systems can dial each other using internal extensions.  The systems are on the same MPLS and can ping each other.

Does anyone have any links to good documentation on doing this?

Thanks.

On Cisco, setup a GW with the appropriate parameters.

On the other system, do the same, and hope for the best.

You will not find documents related to integration of third party products of small market share.

If there are no documents, maybe someone can explain what changes need to be made to the gateways to get this working.

Do not change the gateways. Add "a gateway" directly into CM, starting with the most basic configuration.

Do you mean to add the IP address of the Inter Tel Axxess gateway into the CM with the basic configuration?

Forget the gateways, they are not relevant for what you want to do.

Add the addres of the remote system and remember to take care of numbers used on both sides, doing any necessary translation.

Calling space search, etc.

What are the capabilities of the Axxess system?  H.323/SIP/etc? What hardware is available? Gateway(s)/Gatekeeper(s)?

It's actually you that should give more detailed description, preferably opening a new thread.
