Hi,

I have one query regarding inter-cluster trunk restriction. Suppose we have two location A and B.

We want to impose call restriction on side B from side A. Can we do the same with partion and Calling Search Space.

Partion and Calling Search Space used in Side A, can reflect Side B as well.

Regards,

DJ

Building an ICT does not replicate partition or CSS configurations between the clusters. If you want to restrict what can be dialed from cluster B to cluster A, you can either:

  1. Build route patterns that include only what you want to dial-able. This is sort of a cluster-wise way of doing it.
  2. If you follow the Line/Device CSS model where all restrictions are imposed on the line-level CSS with blocked route patterns, you can just create blocking patterns and assign that partition to the CSS assigned to the appropriate lines. This allows you to be granular with your restrictions.
