intercom and UC500 system

I would like any extension to be able to call another and have the receiving station activate the speaker and mute the mic when the incoming call rings.  In past versions of UC500 this was a complicated thing whereby one has to define buttons to for this and define each intercom-to-extension relationship.  It was not feasible for a situation whereby you wanted to roll this out in a place with several dozen extensions and have all of them able to intercom all the rest.  Has anything changed or come out that makes this easier to accomplish on the UC500 system?

That has not changed, but easily possible.

It is not needed, despite any documentation claiming that, that call to intercom extension come from another intercome ext.

You can overlay the intecom DN to the regular one, making just number change with a pattern, eg *233 instead of 233.

Not sure I am following what you say.  Can you provide a config snippet to further illustrate? Thanks, Diego
