Intercom Default to Two-Audio

Anyone know if it is possible to change the default of the intercom lines from one-way audio to two-way audio.

I have a phone where the person wants to be able to respond back from across the room without hitting the intercom button.

Intercom Default to Two-Audio

Hi Gregory,

No way to override the default Intercom one way audio as

you've seen.

You could give this one user a non-intercom DN set to auto answer on speakerphone

and have the person who is calling use their non intercom DN or a speeddial to

reach this user and recieve two way audio path but that's about it

Cheers!

Intercom Default to Two-Audio

Thanks that is what I thought just wanted to make sure I wasn't over looking anything.

Thanks for the other idea as well.

Thanks for the tip Rob - but

Thanks for the tip Rob - but still frustrated with this. It seems to me that it should be an option - this intercom functionality is rather clunky.

So instead of being able to have an intercom line that also functions as an intercom speed dial, I'd have to make a separate speed dial button and burn two buttons on a phone if I want automatic two-way audio. C'mon Cisco.
