Has anyone interfaced a Bogen C100 paging system to either a SCCP ATA or IOS voice gateway? I have a Cisco2821 with the EVM module. The C100 has a terminal strip that supports 600 ohm. The only way I can make it work is to set the FXS port on the 2821 to goundstart. (If it is set to loopstart, it goes offhook when you interface the C100 to the FXS port.) However with groundstart, I get a lot of crackling noise....but only when someone is not speaking. While someone is speaking, it is clear.
I know the C100 is a common paging system and I just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas. Below is the show voice port for the 2821 while the pager is active:

I have not interfaced to the exact Bogen model C100 but I have interfaced a wide combination of random amplifiers as well as a variety of Bogen Products to Cisco Products including SCCP ATA, FXS, FXO, and VG224 with Bogen products like the TPU-XXX Amplifier which does other things besides just amplifying as well as other Bogen products.
The key part you are missing is you need a TAMB which is a Bogen part number that gets plugged inline between your FXS or ATA and your amplifier. It will handle the answering and terminating the call when paging and convert it to a 600 ohm output that the amplifier is expecting.
As long as you are using FXS or ATA (which would be known as station port if you are talking to Bogen Tech Support) you do not need a power supply for the TAMB. If you are using FXO to connect to the TAMB you would need a power supply.
Bogen Tech Support is pretty good and can verify this with them if you like. You just need to let them know you want to interface a 90V Station Port to the C10 and they should tell you the same thing - TAMB
