Internal Call Echo

Hi,

I am having issues with little echo on internal calls. Calls from PSTN works fine, but internal calls have slight echo. I checked all the avenues, including people using headsets etc, but still problem persists.

Is there any setting that i can change to minimize this effect? Below are the firmware version we are using for our devices.

For Cisco 7945: SCCP45.8-3-4SR1S and Cisco 7965: SCCP45.8-3-4SR1S

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks...

Re: Internal Call Echo

You may want to double check to see if Silence suppression is set to false in the the Call Manager Service Parameters>Clusterwide Parameters (Service)>Silence Suppression.  If you have any IP to IP gateways also make sure you're not using VAD.
