Interrupted calls

Hello,

We have a serious problem in our company today with our IP phones, calls keep getting dropped, it's starting to get more and more frequent. I have searched trough the logs of our Router and i have found this pattern repeating when the drops happen:

003523: Jul 30 12:18:36.460 LJETO: %CONTROLLER-5-UPDOWN: Controller E1 0/0/0, changed state to down (RAI detected)

003524: Jul 30 12:18:36.460 LJETO: %MARS_NETCLK-3-CLK_TRANS: Network clock source transitioned from priority 1 to priority 10

003525: Jul 30 12:18:38.460 LJETO: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Serial0/0/0:15, changed state to down

003526: Jul 30 12:18:39.460 LJETO: %CONTROLLER-5-UPDOWN: Controller E1 0/0/0, changed state to up

003527: Jul 30 12:18:39.460 LJETO: %MARS_NETCLK-3-CLK_TRANS: Network clock source transitioned from priority 10 to priority 1

003528: Jul 30 12:18:41.460 LJETO: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Serial0/0/0:15, changed state to up

003529: Jul 30 12:19:01.460 LJETO: %CONTROLLER-5-UPDOWN: Controller E1 0/0/0, changed state to down (RAI detected)

003530: Jul 30 12:19:01.460 LJETO: %MARS_NETCLK-3-CLK_TRANS: Network clock source transitioned from priority 1 to priority 10

003531: Jul 30 12:19:03.460 LJETO: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Serial0/0/0:15, changed state to down

003532: Jul 30 12:19:32.460 LJETO: %CONTROLLER-5-UPDOWN: Controller E1 0/0/0, changed state to up

003533: Jul 30 12:19:32.460 LJETO: %MARS_NETCLK-3-CLK_TRANS: Network clock source transitioned from priority 10 to priority 1

003534: Jul 30 12:19:34.460 LJETO: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Serial0/0/0:15, changed state to up

Its a serious problem since we are running a help desk in our company and customers keep getting their calls disconnected without a warning. I have little to none expirience with IP telephony. We own all our eqipment, the phones, cabling, GSM gateway, and Cisco router, and are connected with a ADSL line to the internet. If you have any helpfull tips please shre.

Thank You

Re: Interrupted calls

Your E1 circuit is flapping. I would suggest raising a case with your telco.
