Hi,
I'm trying to create a voice dial-peer where I can dial 7 digits but only have 4 of the digits forwarded to the appropriate GK.
example:
dial-peer voice 1234 voip
session target ipv4:myGKipAddress
codec g711ulaw
destination-pattern:555....
In destination-pattern I want to discard 555 before send it to GK and send rest of the digits.
Thanks,
-Fred

Fred,
You could use a voice translation rule to accomplish this such as:
voice translation-rule 1
rule 1 /555(....\)/ /\1/
voice translation-profile 1
translate called 1
dial-peer voice 1234 voip
session target ipv4:myGKipAddress
codec g711ulaw
destination-pattern:555....
translation-profile outgoing 1
Hope this helps.

... and you should replace
session target ipv4:myGKipAddress
by
session target ras
...
Cheers,
Martin
