IOS software MTP and RFC2833

Does somebody knows when RFC2833 support was added to IOS software MTP?

CUCM Version 4 and 5 stated that software based MTP do not support RFC 2833 but newer version said nothing.

For version 5:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/5_0_1/ccmsys/a05mtp.html

For version 8:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/8_0_2/ccmsys/a05mtp.html

Thanks!

Hi, aalejo

It was a document bug about this statement in the early CUCM system guide,

CSCse77861

http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCse77861

Incorrect documentation abt IOS Software MTP support for 2833 DTMF Relay

Internally found minor (Sev4) bug: R-Resolved

The Software and Hardware MTP does support RFC2833 from this release of the GW.
