I'm using call manager 8.6 in central location .all branch location phones are using central location DHCP servicer for IP address and register with central location call manager. during WAN outage branch location phones will fall in SRST mode.
I have small doubt.
when branch location phones fall in SRST mofe phones will retain the same IP address or it requires local DHCP server for IP address.
The previous answers are correct, in addition the phone will lose their IP half way through the dhcp lease cycle, so if they remain under SRST too long and lease time is short they will lose IP and unregistered.
