Some of our homeworkers are experiencing issues with their headset or handset they use with IPCommunicator.
They've said that there is an alert message at times that appears when closing down the ip communicator saying "can not save settings".
This means that when they next log on to the communicator the auto tuning wizard appears with a request to 'check audio settings' as 'some audio devices have never been configured to use with Cisco IP Communicator'.
When this happens the handset/headset, make/model option is not available from the drop downs.
Anyone any idea why?

Hi,
Does this issue persist, right from the first time since it was installed ?
I would suggest removing the ip communicator s/w from the computer & reinstall it.

Historically we have 8 users using the IPC.
This is an issue with some but not all of them.
We have had a user bring their laptop in and we have reinstalled all software, handset drivers etc. But then it happens again. I have to issue instructions on setting up their usb phone/headset from scratch.
