IP Communicator TFTP server IPs are not being received

When a user connects via Cisco VPN Anyconnect starts up the CIPC client, they receive an error, 'TFTP server can not be reached'. We can workaround this issue by opening a 'run as administrator' session and manually entering the address and the client works fine.

DHCP scope option for voice on the connecting subnet is correct.

Can't push the IP to the registry [computer][HKLM][Software][Cisco Systems, Inc][Communicator][Tftpsserver1] and [Tftpserver2]

Any idea why this might be happening?

Thanks

Brendan

Hi,

Usually when the TFTP server cannot be reached from CIPC, something might be blocking the traffic. Can you please check that and discard any connectivity issues?

Regards,

Tere.
